Choose a clear first chapter
For a short introduction, Delhi, Agra and Jaipur make a coherent starting point. With more time, add one contrasting region—perhaps Varanasi, a wildlife reserve or Kerala—rather than trying to cover the whole country.
Give arrivals some breathing room
A long international flight is a good reason to keep the first day gentle. Plan the first hotel night around the actual arrival time, and discuss early check-in arrangements before booking.
Balance the famous and the personal
The Taj Mahal deserves its place in the route. So does time for a neighbourhood walk, an unhurried lunch or a conversation with a local host. Choose a few experiences that reflect your interests.
Make the logistics part of the plan
Ask about door-to-door travel time, baggage needs and how much walking each day involves. A route on a map does not show the full rhythm of a travel day.
Planning guidance, not a fixed programme. We check destination-specific arrangements for your travel dates.
